How often does SpendGuard check inventory?
Whenever it changes — via Shopify webhooks (orders, manual updates, syncs). Not on a fixed schedule.
What data do you store?
Guard configs, ad entity data (names, IDs, statuses), inventory levels, and activity logs. We don't store ad creatives, customer data, or payment info.
Multiple stores?
Each SpendGuard installation is tied to one Shopify store. Multiple stores need separate installs.

What if I manually pause an ad?
By default, SpendGuard won't resume it. With Takeover enabled, SpendGuard will manage it normally.
Can I use both platforms in one guard?
Yes — select entities from Google Ads and Meta Ads in the same guard. They'll be paused/resumed together.
What are the three guard modes?
Monitor only — logs what would happen but doesn't touch ads. Auto pause — pauses ads when stock ≤ threshold; notifies you when resume conditions are met, you resume manually. Auto pause & resume — fully automated, pauses and resumes based on your thresholds.
Technical
What if I disconnect a platform?
Guards using that platform's entities will stop working. Remove those entities first, or reconnect.
Can I pause a guard temporarily?
Switch it to Monitor only mode. This stops automation but keeps tracking.
What if an ad is deleted in the ad platform?
It gets marked as archived. Guards skip it automatically.
