Data Deletion Instructions — SpendGuard

This page explains how to request deletion of your data from SpendGuard. For more information about how we handle your data, see our Privacy Policy.
Request Deletion
To request deletion of your SpendGuard data, send an email to hello@saanvi.ai with the following information:
- Your Shopify store domain (e.g., yourstore.myshopify.com)
- The email address used in SpendGuard
- Optional: Meta Ad Account ID (act_...) and/or Google Ads Customer ID (###-###-####) if known
Example email:
We will process deletion requests within 30 days of receipt. You will receive a confirmation email once deletion is complete.
Remove SpendGuard Access
To remove SpendGuard's access to your ad accounts:
- In SpendGuard: Go to Connections → Disconnect Google Ads or Disconnect Meta Ads
- For Meta Ads only: You can also remove SpendGuard from Facebook by going to Facebook Settings & privacy → Business integrations → Find "SpendGuard" → Click "Remove"
Note: Removing stops future access. - For Google Ads: Disconnecting inside SpendGuard is sufficient to revoke access.
Uninstall from Shopify
When you uninstall SpendGuard from your Shopify store:
- SpendGuard stops monitoring and taking actions
- OAuth tokens for Shopify, Google Ads, and Meta Ads are deleted from our systems and access ceases
- All guard configurations are deleted
Action logs are retained for 90 days after the last action, then automatically deleted. We will delete stored data within this stated window.
What Data We Delete
When you request deletion, we will delete:
- Access tokens and credentials (if stored)
- Connected account identifiers (Meta ad account ID, Google Ads customer ID)
- Synced ad entities (campaign/ad set/ad group/ad IDs and names)
- Guard configuration and mappings
- Activity and action logs
Note: We do not store end-customer personal information, so there is no such data to delete.
