How to Print Your iPhone Calendar (Day, Week or Month)

Step-by-step instructions for turning events in iOS Calendar into printable pages, including dates, layouts, AirPrint, PDFs and privacy.

Short answer: Open PrintMyCal, allow calendar access, select calendars, choose Day/Week/Month/List and your dates, review the preview, then tap Print or ⋮ → Save/Share PDF.

The Calendar app on iPhone is built for viewing events, but a printable copy is often useful: a family schedule on the fridge, a shift list at work, or a readable set of appointments to hand to someone else.

What you need

  • Your events in the iPhone Calendar app or another calendar account enabled through iOS.
  • PrintMyCal installed on your iPhone.
  • An AirPrint-compatible printer if you want paper immediately, or any preferred iOS destination if you want to save a PDF first.

How to print the calendar

  1. Open PrintMyCal and allow calendar access when iOS asks.
  2. Open Calendars and select the sources you want on the printout.
  3. Select Day, Week, Month or List along the top.
  4. Tap the date range heading to choose your start date and how many days, weeks or months you need.
  5. Use Paper to choose A4 or US Letter and the appropriate orientation.
  6. Use Customize for text size, event details and optional privacy adjustments.
  7. Review the preview, then tap Print or choose ⋮ → Save/Share PDF.

Which format should you choose?

Month is suited to general household plans. Week helps compare appointments across seven days. Day is useful for detailed short schedules. List displays a longer period in date and time order.

What about a busy month?

A paper month grid has limited space. PrintMyCal includes continuation pages for overflowing event details rather than silently leaving them off the output. Review the page count before printing.

Can you protect private details?

Yes. Use print-only event edits to change a Printed title, hide an event, or mark it as Busy in the output. Original events in Apple Calendar remain unchanged.

Common questions

Does printing change my Apple Calendar?

No. PrintMyCal reads events for output only. Print-only edits do not write back to Apple Calendar.
