Common questions

Why is my photo cropped?

Print sizes such as 2 × 2 in or 35 × 45 mm have a fixed aspect ratio. PrintFit fills the selected frame without stretching the photo. Tap the photo in Size & copies to reposition or zoom the visible area.

Why is the printed photo the wrong physical size?

In the printer settings, select Actual Size or 100% and turn off Fit to Page, Scale to Fit, or similar automatic scaling. Confirm that the selected paper size in PrintFit matches the paper loaded in the printer.

Why did PrintFit create more than one page?

PrintFit never silently shrinks a selected print size. Additional pages are created when all prints cannot fit on one sheet using the selected paper, margins and photo spacing. Open Page setup to review those settings.

Why is a photo rotated on the sheet?

When Auto-rotate photos is enabled, PrintFit may rotate a print by 90 degrees only when it helps the print fit or saves a page. This changes its placement on the sheet, not its physical dimensions. You can turn this setting off in Page setup.

Which photo formats are supported?

PrintFit supports JPEG, PNG and HEIC/HEIF photos selected through Apple's photo picker. If a photo cannot be loaded, try exporting or saving a copy as JPEG or PNG and adding it again.

Why does adding several photos take some time?

Large iPhone photos, HEIC processing and thumbnail creation can take a few moments, especially when adding many photos. Keep PrintFit open until the import completes.

How do I print or share the PDF?

Open Preview, select Print, and then choose AirPrint or the iOS share options. PrintFit generates the PDF locally on the device.

How do I restore my lifetime purchase?

Use Restore Purchase inside PrintFit while signed into the same Apple Account used for the original purchase. Apple manages payment and purchase history.

How do I remove my photos and local project data?

Remove photos or start a new project inside PrintFit. Deleting PrintFit removes its local app data from the device. Copies previously shared or saved to another destination must be deleted from that destination separately.

Does PrintFit upload my photos?

No. Photos, layouts and PDFs are processed locally. PrintFit does not upload them to servers operated by Saanvi or Confianza LLP. See the Privacy Policy.
